ACUPUNCTURE
As one of the country’s most popular forms of alternative medicine, acupuncture is a relaxing, rejuvenating therapy that has been shown to improve conditions ranging from mild to severe, spanning all the major systems of the body. It is particularly popular for back pain, neck pain, and stress relief. The acupuncture style utilized at The Fountain Acupuncture is very gentle and highly effective. DRY-NEEDLING
Dry needling is an increasingly popular form of needle therapy, especially effective for pain relief and muscle relaxation. This technique involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific points, known as “trigger points,” in your muscles. By stimulating these points, dry needling can release the knot and relieve muscle pain and spasm. The treatment is often used to treat sports injuries, muscle pain, and even fibromyalgia pain. Like acupuncture, dry needling offers a non-pharmacological approach to pain management. Dry needling seeks to relieve pain and restore normal muscle function, encouraging the body’s natural healing process. Schedule your acupuncture appointment here and request dry needling during your appointment at no extra charge.
NEEDLE-FREE THERAPIES
Acupressure
For patients who are needle-sensitive or those who prefer not to use needles, acupressure is a way to rectify the energy channels in the body using powerful acupuncture points coupled with targeted deep tissue therapy. See also Non-insertive needling and laser acupuncture below. Schedule your appointment here.
Laser Acupuncture
For sensitive patients or sensitive acupuncture points, a cold laser is used to penetrate deeply into the cells around the acupuncture point to stimulate a healing response. Infrared wavelengths penetrate much deeper into the body than those of visible light, allowing the cold laser to be safely and effectively used on bone, cartilage, nerve, and vascular tissue. Non-insertive Needling

These tools are also very popular with pediatric patients. Schedule your acupuncture appointment here and request needle-free therapies at your appointment.
